Three of castle & cooke's neighborhoods earn honors. Makana Kai, Kikaha and Wai Kalo'i, Castle & Cooke's entries in the Building Industry Association of Hawai'i 2007 Parade of Homes were honored with ten awards at a ceremony held October 4.  

We are extremely pleased and honored by the Building Industry Association of Hawaii's recognition of all of our entries in this year's Parade of Homes, said Castle & Cooke Hawai'i President Harry A. Saunders. This honor really reflects the hard work of our employees, contractors and company to help Hawaii's families find the home of their dreams.
DIVISION III WINNER - MAKANA KAI  PLAN 2
Makana Kai at Wehilani, located in Waikoloa, won the Division III category for multi-family townhouse, $299,001 - $399,000. Plan Two of this collection's five spacious designs, includes three bedrooms, two and a half baths, and 1,245 square feet of living area. The home also was honored with a 2-Star Hawai'i BuiltGreen Award for energy efficiencies and environmentally friendly materials and construction. Makana Kai also won the National Homeownership Award for Multi-Family from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.
DIVISION VI WINNER - KIKAHA  PLAN E
Kikaha at Wehilani, Plan E was entered in the Division VI category for single-family detached, $599,001 - $799,000. With three bedrooms and two and a half baths spread over 1,985 square feet of living area, this home is built for comfort. In an extremely competitive division, the home was named Winner Single-Family Detached Division VI. In addition, the home earned the highest energy efficiency rating with a 3-Star Hawai'i BuiltGreen Award.

In addition, KIkaha at Wehilani won three Related Industry Awards including Excellence in Marketing for Best Logo Design, Best Signage and Best Sales Office.
DIVISION VI ENTRY - WAI KALO'I RESIDENCE 5  'ILIMA
Wai Kalo'i at Makakilo, Castle & Cooke's only O'ahu entry, also participated in the Division VI category.
